Mann Made Media was delighted to win the pitch for the prestigious Sunday Times Top Brands Awards 2010 and created an iconic font for the theme.
With a fresh, fun, and often cheeky take on the theme that included live branded performers, brands as décor elements, and an exhibition of photographs from the Sunday Times newspaper, each manipulated to include brands that added new layers of meaning.
For the awards Mann Made Media devised a fresh new animation technique – using brand logos as pixels – to create a series of images that dramatised the forty categories and winners.
The streamlined logistics managed to achieve an average of just forty-five seconds per award – this despite some hilarious interruptions from some of South Africa’s best known political personalities!
The after party was headlined by Jack Parrow to the delight of guests, all of whom raved about this fresh, fun and unconventional awards experience.
At the end of the day it was a case of WHAT A CLIENT, WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY, WHAT A TEAM!
